Facebook did the right thing by doing away away with a Muslim-bashing group that had been set up at the popular social networking service.

Any group that preaches hate, discrimination and destruction of another group should not be allowed to spread their influence. We cannot generalise that all Jews or Muslims or any race are culpable and do not deserve the same rights and respect as human beings.

According to AFP report :

Facebook -- "We disabled the 'I Hate Muslims in Oz' group because it contained an explicit statement of hate," the California-based website said Thursday in response to an AFP inquiry.

"Where Holocaust denial groups have done this, and been reported, we've taken the same action."
