Dear forumers,

This is an open forum but forum writers who post unconventional views should not expect to convert everyone to their beliefs. One would earn credibility by supporting assessments with facts and convince through persuasion and wisdom.

We assume that most forumers would have the level of education and maturity to make a distinction between facts and opinions. It is understandable that each individual's views and impressions could be shaped by different personal experiences. Nevertheless, there are certain universally accepted guidelines on adherence to objectivity and intellectual debate.

While we could have different interpretations of facts within certain acceptable limits, factual information could not be distorted or exaggerated to served one's argument or purpose. Refusal to acknowledge facts and continuing the thread with irrelevant posts do not reflect well of the writer.

Posters should be made aware that irrelevant points and digression from the subject matter or key issues may result in some posts being deleted.

This forum also does not tolerate personal slanders and offensive language. Even friends and members of the same family could disagree on certain subjects but continue to treat each other with respect.

Moderators are volunteers and may not be vigilant in spotting spelling errors and violations of forum regulations. We understand that forum participants come from diverse backgrounds and various parts of the world. We therefore urge forumers to report discrepancies if you wish to clarify the boundaries or would like Admin to consider possible courses of action.

Admin would also like to take this opportunity to remind forum writers to spell check their posts before submitting. You could edit the posts if you find glaring spelling or grammatical errors on second reading.

Have a good week.

Regards,
Administration
