 Post subject: Sympathies for Jakarta bombing victims - foreigners

The outpouring of sympathies was indicative of the heart wrenching loss of lives in the Jakarta bombings. Everyone took notice because most of the victims were foreigners. The Jemaiah Islam terrorist organisation wants foreigners to get out of Indonesia to get out of the country so that the economy would collapse. We are once again reminded of the Bali bombings that killed mainly foreigners is still fresh in the people's minds. Global terrorism is still full of vitality. After many years of fighting terror, some secret cells remain active and are difficult to eradicate.

Terrorists hope to recruit more extremists among domestic supporters when they kill foreigners but are detested internationally. On the other hand, terrorists who want to score points internationally tend to annihilate the local people. There have been unnecessary many loss of lives this year - Xinjiang riots, bombings in India...
