Turkey Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan is a liar. How absurd can it get to vilify the Chinese government for genocide in Xinjiang when the facts point to Uighurs deliberately killing Hans, Huis and other ethnicities for their selfish and flawed agenda of independent East Turkestan state backed by radical Islamic forces. Has Turkey ever acknowledged its past genocidal policies against more than a million Armenians and thousands of Kurd minorities? No the Turk authorities have tried all means to cover up crimes of the last century and even put the writer of Turk genocide in jail.

China should call the bluff of Turkey's Industry Minister threat to boycott Chinese goods to protest the violence in Xinjiang. (Turkish government spokesman said this was the minister's personal view and not government policy - we know which side is more dependent on trade.) It's time that China implements sanctions on Turkey for its support for Uighur violence and secession.

Of the handful of Uighurs who were injured or killed, hundred of Han, Hui and other minorities in Xinjiang have endured humiliation, suffered unjust physical and mental attacks or died.

If Muslim fundamentalists and separatists could only understand the language of forceful law enforcement, then curfew should continue for the safety of the general public and majority of non-violent Xinjiang people. It was reported that 10,000 are leaving and the exodus is likely to pick up if there is enough transportation out of Urumuqi. This is precisely what the Uighurs hope to achieve by instilling fear on people trying to make an honest, legitimate and peaceful living. It is prudent of the Chinese government to temporarily stop Friday prayers and journalists who could not be everywhere to give a panoramic view of the whole situation without getting caught in the violence.

The world governments should be wary of that these Uighurs secessionists are no angelic freedom fighters. They share common beliefs, culture and links with radical Central Asian Kazak, Uzbek and Afghans. The USA under the Obama Administration should take a clear stand and cease hosting exiled Uighur separatist leaders such as Rebiya Kadeer. They should nib the terrorist problem in the bud once and for all instead of allow it to forment into a serious problem that would blow in the face of the western democratic governments especially USA and Germany secret agencies who have been showing exhorbitant and presposterous hospitality to closet terrorists.

The recent protests, allegations and demonstrations in some cities are organised by ethnic cleansing genocidal terorrists and their foolish supporters. Such malicious insults are similar to condemning those who try to halt Nazi killings or religious terrorism.

Yes, Turkey Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan ignores the basic facts of the riots in Xinjiang, like in Tibet in March 2008, where paid terrorists (meaning those who killed and injured innocent people indiscriminately and who were paid and organized by Chinese traitors and their foreign backers) incited ethnic conflicts and spilled blood on Chinese streets.

He is probably engaging in votes hunting in the dirty party politics in his country. The recent Obama visit to his country must also have gone into his head, making him thinking that the US needs his country’s cooperation so much that the friendship of the Chinese people now has little or no value to his country. Or a huge international conspiracy is brewing.



It is silly to call for the boycott of Chinese goods, but it is a posture that could earn the Turkish Industry Minister some of the all-important votes in the dirty party politics. People, including the Turks, buy Chinese goods not because they do it as a humanitarian act, but because Chinese goods are good value for money. Therefore, boycotting Chinese goods would mean a huge unnecessary economic sacrifice that is not popular with the ordinary people who are already struggling to make ends meet during economic bad times.

China and the Chinese people should ignore such a call, but they should not go out of the way to help Turkish economic developments or other needs, or invest in unfriendly countries like Turkey. All decisions with such countries should be made strictly on the basis of best benefits for China and no equal or better alternative available elsewhere.



Those who kill and injure innocent people indiscriminately are terrorists and have to be treated as such. Innocent people should not have to suffer grievously because of them. The sector of the western media that takes the side of the terrorists is an utter disgrace to the journalism profession.



If the 2-state solution could be imposed in the Middle-east and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict resolved, the western powers must have believed that they could dodge the cross hairs of the Islamic terrorists. So, if new enemies could be found for the Islamic terrorists freed from the fighting there and Iraq, and eventually Afghanistan and Pakistan, the western powers could become the allies of these terrorists instead. Obama has already told the Islamic world that “the US is not the enemy of Islam” and his Administration has ruled in the Guantanamo Bay case involving Chinese Uyghurs that unless someone is a US enemy combatant, the US is not interested whether he is a terrorist, even when he is involved in terrorist activities. What is clear now is that the US and her allies are very keen to extricate themselves from the Bush’s War on Terror and what they will be doing is still unfolding before us.

This postulation looks dim. I am not as pessimistic with regard to the Obama Administration befriending the Muslims but not the terrorists. If they want to win the war in Afghanistan, one of the prerequisite is to curb the growth of related terrorist groups like the East Turkestan separatists. US ought to know better not to create minefields and timebombs that will thwart its bid to improve security. We should keep our fingers cross and hope that the Obama experts are not as dumb as the Bush Administration's.

China supports free trade and business conducted on purely commercial interest and try to play down politics and irrelevant issues. It is unlikely that China will resort to economic sanctions that some western countries have a penchant for supporting whenever they feel frustrated that things are not going their way.
