Korea have been artificially separated into two countries when they share the same blood ties. Germany and Vietnam have done it.
Kim Jong-un is under increasing pressure from China. South Korea cannot count on Trump US to provide security cover.
The best option is for the Koreans to solve their own problems. Big powers please step back from regional affairs and let people determine their fate and future.

I agree to a point when the rogue dictator and or roque state threatens unreasonably the lives or or stability of the rest of the world, then the matter has to be resolved, pretty fast.

In the days when we fought with bows and arrows there was plenty of time to resolve the matter. But today when we have intercontinental Ballistic Nuclear missiles that take seconds to deliver to wipe out whole cities with hundreds of thousands of deaths, more drastic and urgent measures are needed.
